Tube bending
Steel and aluminium tube bending
Tubes up to Ø40 mm are bent on a double-head CNC bender – symmetrical U-shapes are bent with both heads at once, so both bends are identical and the cycle is short. Larger diameters are bent on request, with one contact for you.
- Up to Ø40 mmtube diameter
- 1400 mmmax. distance between bends
- 2 headsboth bends at once

Tips for bent parts
- Bend radius should normally be at least 1.5–2 × tube diameter
- Leave a straight length between bends for tool grip
- Cut holes before bending and away from the bend zone
- Specify bend angles, radii and the datum plane on the drawing
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What diameters do you bend?
Up to Ø40 mm as standard; larger diameters on request.
Do you bend aluminium tube?
Yes, carbon steel and aluminium tubes.
Tube bending – frames, legs and arcs
Tube bending cold-forms a tube around a bending die to produce U, L and Z shapes, arcs, frames and legs without welds at the bends. Alumnita bends mild steel and aluminium tubes up to Ø40 mm on double-head tube benders, with up to 1400 mm between bends.
Bending is combined with tube laser cutting: notches and holes are cut before bending, so no drilling or adjustment is needed afterwards. Bent parts are then welded, powder coated and assembled in the same plant. Larger diameters are bent on request.
