Who it is for

When full contract manufacturing makes sense

Contract manufacturing means you hand over a drawing or an idea and receive a finished product – coated, assembled and packed. It suits companies that want to focus on product, sales and customers rather than metalworking equipment, staff and coordinating five subcontractors.

  • Equipment manufacturers needing frames, enclosures, brackets and assemblies
  • Furniture and interior brands – metal legs, frames and systems
  • Construction and façade companies – aluminium and steel elements
  • Brands that sell metal products made to their own specification
  • Engineering firms that need a prototype first and a series later
Process

From drawing to delivery in 7 steps

  1. Enquirydrawing (DXF, DWG, STEP, PDF), sketch or sample, quantity and lead time
  2. Engineering reviewmanufacturability (DFM), materials, tolerances, possible simplifications
  3. Quotationprice for all operations, lead time, packing and delivery terms
  4. Laser cuttingsheet and tube, parts with tabs and markings
  5. Forming and weldingbending, milling, stamping, robotic and laser welding
  6. Surfaceautomatic chemical pre-treatment and RAL powder coating
  7. Assembly and deliveryassembly, inspection, labelling, packing and transport

What to send for an accurate quote

If you only have a sketch or an old part, that is enough to start. Drawings are used only to evaluate and produce your order; confidentiality agreements can be discussed before files are shared.

  • 3D model in STEP / IGES or 2D DXF / DWG
  • PDF drawing with tolerances, material and finish
  • Quantities: first batch and annual demand
  • RAL colour and coating type, if coated
  • Packing and labelling requirements

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can you make the complete product?

Yes. Cutting, welding, coating, assembly and packing are done in our own plant in Kaunas. Bending of larger diameters is handled on request.

What is the minimum order?

One piece. Prototypes and small batches use the same processes as series.

Do you help simplify the design?

Yes. In the engineering review we suggest tab-and-slot joints, standard thicknesses and other cost-reducing changes.

Do you deliver abroad?

Yes, to the Baltics, Scandinavia, Germany and other EU countries.

How do you ensure quality?

Checks between operations, engineering review before production and an ISO 9001 quality system being implemented.

How is this different from buying separate services?

You buy a finished product from one accountable supplier instead of coordinating several subcontractors.

Can you work to our quality requirements?

Yes. The inspection plan, check points and documentation are agreed at the start of the order.

How is the price calculated?

Material, operation time, welding scope, coated area, assembly and packing – presented as one price per finished product.

About the service

Contract metal manufacturing in Lithuania

Contract manufacturing is a service in which a manufacturer produces parts, assemblies or finished products to the customer’s technical documentation, while the customer retains the product design and intellectual property. UAB Alumnita, part of Tututis Group, combines sheet and tube laser cutting, bending, CNC milling, robotic and laser welding, chemical pre-treatment, powder coating and assembly in our plant in Kaunas, Lithuania.

A closed production chain in one location shortens the production cycle, reduces logistics costs and makes responsibility for quality clear from the first operation to packaging. We work with aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel – from prototypes to series production.

The service is designed for equipment manufacturers and companies in furniture, construction, energy, retail equipment and transport that want to focus on product and customers and entrust production to one partner. We serve customers in the Baltics, Scandinavia and Germany.
